Life Coaching

How does it work?

Coaching sessions are conducted by telephone, though occasionally some coaches and clients prefer to meet and work one-to-one.

Usually, the client calls the coach at a pre-arranged time for a session, this makes the process very convenient, and it offers greater flexibility for people with a busy lifestyle.

These sessions are generally weekly or fortnightly and last an hour. It usually takes 4-6 sessions to start achieving the desired results, though the client will often start to feel the benefits of the life coaching approach more or less straightaway.

Your coach will listen to you in a totally non-judgmental way. He or She will help you to open up and decide where your true ambitions lie.

Choosing the right Life Coach for you !

Accreditation and standardisation of coaching skills and qualifications are increasingly becoming formalised. Because coaching is still in its relative infancy, there is some way to go before the standard reaches international harmonisation and uniformity.

It is therefore important to choose a coach who has a proven qualification in the field of Life Coaching.

What is Life Coaching about?

We live a life bound by beliefs instilled in us by our parents, our friends, whoever we came into contact with, which has influenced how we live our lives.

We are going through life without any real clarity concerning where we are going and what we want, or we may know what we want but lack the confidence or “know how” to achieve it.

Life Coaches are called upon when dissatisfaction reaches the level where we think No More! I have had enough! I want to be in control of my life! I want to design my life rather than just make a living! I want to get more out of my life and I want to be in charge of making it happen!

Life Coaching is about bridging the gap between dreams and reality by converting self-doubt to self-belief and adopting a proactive rather than a reactive approach to life.

What goals, ambitions, aspirations are important in life?

What is stopping her from achieving them?

What is she going to do to achieve these goals, ambitions, aspirations?

Goals can be anything:

Building self-esteem / self-confidence.

Making a big change - (starting a new business, changing jobs, dealing with the aftermath of a divorce).

Handling relationships more effectively.

Feeling fulfilled at work.

Losing weight, getting fit.

Improving your work / life balance.
